Therapeutic Resources for You!

There are so many therapy type self help books, podcasts and newsletters out there, it can be overwhelming to choose something for a specific issue. I have a bookshelf full of books that I still haven’t read and a library cart full of more.  I wish I could just lay my hand on each book and absorb all the information.

I have a few favorite books and podcasts that I regularly suggest to therapy clients or a friend or colleague dealing with a specific issue or wanting more information. I also listen to podcasts and learn about the books or authors who are being interviewed. Listening to a podcast or reading a newsletter is a shorter way to gather some information without committing to an entire book.

Try Before You Buy

I also love Libby, the app I use to check out library books. I will read a book or listen to it on audio before I add it to my collection, and although sometimes there is a wait list, it is worth it.

Below are a handful of books, newsletters and podcasts that I find helpful. I hope you find something that is informative. Please share any therapeutic books or podcasts below that you recommend or enjoy.
